It is crucial to set a walk away point every time you enter negotiations.

Don’t think of your walk away point of how affordable can I make this for the client."

Refer only when walk away point was 1 or 2 – don’t undercut yourself… if it is not good enough for you, it isn’t good enough for the marketplace

Create colleagues pool with a similar brand – resources for extremely big projects could be shared and also finders fees for referrals be established.
