What is Usability Consultancy?

Looking through a clients existing site/s, I work out, what the site does well or could do better for the client, the business and for the user. I examine, aspects of findability, if the navigation works, if user flows are seamless and appropriate, how errors are handled etc.

Clients do not receive a lengthy written report of the findings (to be filed and forgotten)- instead I list and prioritize 'worst offenders' and suggest remedies in order of cost and effectiveness.
